Our Foundation.....
Here at Highland Meadow Drafts we currently have two spotted draft mares, one being my personal favorite Kiowa! She is the reason for my love of drafts! She is an amazing mother, friend and definatley is the alpha mare, lending a hand as a surrogate mother when needed as well. GREAT NEWS!! Kiowa has been confirmed in foal to TINY! she is due Early August 2010 and took on the first cover! Cant wait to see what she will produce this time!!!
We recently decided to bring home Kiowa's 2008 filly, Kiona, and are extremly happy with this decision! She is going to be HUGE! Maybe a dressage prospect?.... At only 1 year she stands 16.2hh already!! We expect her to go at least 17.2hh.
Pebbles is the other, although smaller than most she produces amazing offspring with outstanding conformation and tempermant!
We recently decided to purchase our first registered Canadian Warmblood "Docter madison". She is magnificent and has amazing bloodlines. She is out of the amazing stallion Donnerhall! We cant wait to see what she and Tiny will produce together! Will post pics soon!
